On Episode 2 of the EIU Throws Podcast I got the chance to hangout with one of the best coaches in the country, Andrew Ninow. Coach Ninow is currently the throws coach at the University of Washington.

Topics included recruiting, how to build relationships with your athletes, developing your throwers efficiently while achieving long-term growth, good stories, and a ton more!Coach Ninow has mentored 14 First Team All-Americans, 1 Olympian, 3 NCAA Runners-Up, with numerous conference champions in the Pac-12 and SEC in just a decade’s time. He has coached an athlete to the NCAA Championships in every event, indoor and outdoor. In 2014, he was named the Southeast Region Assistant Coach of the Year award by the USTFCCCA.

This was a super fun interview for me. Coach Ninow was my college coach for 3 years, and has had an immense impact on my life as a person, a thrower, and now as a coach. He is an awesome story-teller, full of knowledge, and shared a lot of great information during our talk. Enjoy!
