Man Booker prize-winning novelist Ian McEwan discusses emotion and its
place in literature and the brain with Professor Ray Dolan (WellcomeTrust Centre for Neuroimaging at UCL) at an event that took place at UCL on 30 April at UCL.Ian McEwan's writing explores human nature and emotion at play in
couples and families, and in situations of war. Professor Dolan and hisresearch group investigate how emotion can interact with cognition in
many contexts, such as when we make decisions.
