Quotes“Culture is interwoven in our daily lives.”
“Troubleshooting and thinking of solutions is a great first step.”“The difference between diversity and inclusion is diversity having gender, color, race, and backgrounds, but inclusion is really feeling empowered enough to share your perspective.”
“I believed in the power of mental health in shaping everything around us.”“Mental health isn’t something that was embedded in our educational systems.”“ companies lead by example in making sure their employees prioritize their mental health and wellbeing.”
“Technology is a tool to help bring the best out of the [MENA]region.”
“personal branding is story-telling.”Key lessons:
Technology (in the MENA region) can help women be included, and with time have a seat at the table.
Breaking the cultural cycle is important, and should begin with the educational systemChampioning people who are breaking the mold will encourage more women and more minorities, in general, to step up within their communities.
It’s important to listen to your body and learn when you need to take a break.
