For Episode 55 I'm joined by Grant Johnson. I've talked on previous episodes about how strong the connection between Rochester and Syracuse has been over the years. Grant has played in a lot of bands in Syracuse over the last 25 years and we discuss those bands as well as their connection to the Rochester scene. We also talk about a lot of fast hardcore bands from the Slap A Ham/625 Records era. Some of the bands Grant has played in include Set In Motion, Eternal Youth, Spark Lights The Friction, The Funeral, AWOL, and more recently in Difficult and Bent Limbs. He also played drums in some noteworthy bands while in California in the mid 2000s. We talk about all of these bands and plenty more in our conversation.
