Not What I Expected - Part 1 - a podcast by Epic Church

We can all look back at 2020 and say, “Well that’s not what I expected.” This past year was filled with many unexpected things like COVID-19, mask mandates, social distancing, schools closing, businesses shutting down, economic uncertainty, racial tension, political fighting, an intense election and more. Don’t we all hope that 2021 will be very different?

Well – we aren’t the only ones to hope that. Over 2,000 years ago, around Christmas time – many people were saying, “Well that’s not what I expected.” And many of those people hoped that the next year would be very different than the year they were experiencing. So – this Christmas we’ll explore how God can use unexpected things to lead us to the most important things.”
