Serge Wich is a professor in primate biology at Liverpool John Moores University and an honorary professor for the conservation of the great apes at the University of Amsterdam. He is also the co-founder of the nonprofit, Conservation Drones.


His research focuses on primate behavioral ecology, tropical rain forest ecology, and the conservation of primates and their habitats. Much of his work has been focused on orangutans in Indonesia.
