Though you have not seen him, you love him.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.—We love because he first loved us.—So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. “Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him.”—“It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord… in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith.
