Morning:

1 Chronicles 4:10; Psalm 121:7; Proverbs 30:7–9; Jeremiah 15:21; Matthew 26:41; Luke 22:46; 2 Peter 2:9; 1 John 5:18; Revelation 3:10

“Oh… that you would keep me from harm.”

“Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”—“The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Two things I ask of you; deny them not to me before I die: Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?” or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God.

The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.—“I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless.”—We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.—“Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.”—The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials.

Star differs from star in glory.

On the way they had argued with one another about who was the greatest. And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”—Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who… made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.

And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

Daniel 12:3 (Listen)
