Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

For he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of theLorddrives.—“Be gone, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’” Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.—Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.—So that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.—Be sober-minded; be watchful.
