Morning:Genesis 18:17; Psalm 25:14; Psalm 65:4; Matthew 13:11; John 15:14–15; John 17:8; 1 Corinthians 2:7; 1 Corinthians 2:10

“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends.”

TheLordsaid, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?”—“To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven.”—These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.—Hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.

Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple!—The friendship of theLordis for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.—“For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me.”

“You are my friends if you do what I command you.”

Evening:Psalm 65:1; Isaiah 60:18; Ephesians 2:19–22; 1 Peter 2:3–5; Revelation 21:14

You shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.—If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion.

Psalm 65:1(Listen)
