The unfolding of your words gives light.

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.—For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.—The Word was God…. Noah was a righteous man.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
