The unfolding of your words gives light.
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.—For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.—The Word was God…. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.—But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.—I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.—“Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.”
For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.—But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Noah was a righteous man.
“The righteous shall live by faith.”—Then Noah built an altar to theLordand took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And… theLordsmelled the pleasing aroma.—The Lamb that was slain.
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.—Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies…. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified.
Genesis 6:9(Listen)

Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
