Morning:1 Corinthians 10:13; Hebrews 2:18; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 12:5; Hebrews 12:11; 1 Peter 1:6; 1 Peter 4:12–13

Now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials.

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.—The exhortation that addresses you as sons… “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.”—For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.—For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.—God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability.

1 Corinthians 10:13(Listen)

13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Prince of Peace.

May he judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice! Let the mountains bear prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness!… May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth! In his days may the righteous flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more!—“Glory to God,… and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

“Because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”—“Peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all).”

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”—“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.”—The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
