Morning:

Matthew 18:19–20; Matthew 28:20; John 14:21–23; Jude 24–25

“Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

“If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”—“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

“Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?…” “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

Evening:

Psalm 46:1–3; Matthew 24:6; 2 Corinthians 5:1; 1 Peter 4:7; 2 Peter 3:7; 2 Peter 3:13–14; Revelation 20:11

The end of all things is at hand.

I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away.—The heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.—“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed.”

We have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.—We are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.
