Morning:

2 Chronicles 20:12; Psalm 25:9; Psalm 123:1–2; Psalm 143:8; Proverbs 16:9; Ecclesiastes 9:11; Matthew 5:5; John 16:13; James 1:5

He… teaches the humble his way.

“Blessed are the meek.”

Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge.—The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God.—Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

“O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.”

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
