Carol Lynn is one of the industry’s most experienced and knowledgeable IT executive recruiters and is a founding member of Heller Search Associates. Carol Lynn has recruited an amazing range of CIO, CTOs and tough-to-find architects for companies in a wide array of industries. In addition to her own impressive search engagements, Carol Lynn directs Heller Search’s team of executive recruiters.

I have my son to thank for introducing me to Crossfit. He started while in college, he worked out hard over the summers, but I told him it wasn’t for me, “I’m too old.” He is persistent and lured me in to take an introductory class 3 ½ years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I am a person who always looks for the next challenge in all part of my life. Crossfit provides ongoing and continual challenges for me to reach to the next level. It satisfies the tenacious nature of who I am. I have been a runner for years. I have run a Marathon (4:21), several half marathons and numerous 10 – 5K road races, but the injuries from running were many. They have been few with Crossfit. I work a full time demanding job as Managing Director of Recruiting at Heller Search, an IT executive search firm. I get up at 4:20 every day to get my 2 to 3 hour workouts in before work, and on occasion I do some work in the evening. This has been an incredible journey for me. 

Who would have thought that “I’m too old” would turn into “I’m a Games Athlete!”
