It's not that I haven't wanted to share this, but it's one of those things that I'm not sure what to say about it or if you even care to hear about it. Because it's so personal. I never want to be one to tell you what to do, but that being said, I wanted to share my own personal experience with therapy to perhaps help you see that therapy is not just for people with severe mental illness, or major traumas, or exclusively for a certain type person. Therapy can be extremely beneficial to anyone who might have some incorrect narratives being told and retold in their mind. Sometimes we don't even realize the lies we are perpetuating in our minds, and when you are given a place to sit without distractions and the freedom to express your true thoughts and experiences to an unbiased third party, it's amazing what can surface. You may have considered therapy or perhaps you've done it already... but regardless, I hope that my story can help you to recognize what you might benefit from in your own life in order to live your own best life.
