Deny Self! - a podcast by Band of Brothers

Elder Juan Cerdan-Diaz presented, "Deny Self," during which he reminded us, from Mark 8:34-35, how Jesus commanded His followers that they must deny self and take up their cross if they were going to follow Him. That command is relevant today, as we Christians are challenged to truly follow Jesus. As John 3:30 tells us, He (Jesus) must increase but I must decrease. When I am denying myself, the Holy Spirit leads me. However, in order for us to truly follow Jesus, we need to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, as expressed in Romans 12:2. As Christians, we must be intentional in our steadfastness in staying in the Word of God and prayer.
