Job:‘Blessed Be the Name of the Lord - a podcast by Band of Brothers

Elder Eric Johnson presented "Job: 'Blessed Be the Name of the Lord.'" Job was a very successful man both in a worldly sense and especially in a Spiritual sense, in that God called him "blameless." Although Job walked closely with the Lord, God allowed him to be put in a position where he lost all of his worldly possessions, his children, and even his health. Yet Job refused to curse or blame God in spite of discouraging messages from friends and even from his wife. Job was able to persevere through it all, persistent in his faith in God and His promises. Although he questioned God's motives, Job never denounced or gave up on God, and, in the end, God restored all the blessings He had given to Job and even more. Job's persevering faith in God brought him through suffering.
