Loving God With All Your Heart - a podcast by Band of Brothers

Michael More' kicked off the new season by presenting "Loving God With All Your Heart," based on the greatest commandment espoused by Jesus in Mark 12:30-31. Michael pointed out the desire that God has placed in each person He created to have a life filled with a purpose or vision that he is passionate about, that captures and consumes his heart. The problem is that we often try to fill that void with things that can never really fulfill that desire, because we sometimes make the treasures of our lives something other than the Lord God Himself. That is why Jesus tells us to love the Lord God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength. Michael challenged the us men to seek to make God the treasure of our lives by staying in the Word, praying, spending alone time with God, and examining our lives consistently to see if we are displaying the characteristics of one who loves God with all of his heart, some of which Michael listed toward the end of his talk. When you seek God with all of your heart, He will take away your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh by which you can then be "Loving God With All Your Heart." Alleluia!
