Putting On Patience - a podcast by Band of Brothers

Dr. Dennis Borg presented "Putting on Patience," during which he covered Patience Toward People, Patience Toward Circumstances, and Acquiring Patience. God is so very patient with us and, therefore, why would we be impatient toward others? Dr. Borg explained why it is that we let impatience creep in. Also, Dr. Borg explained why we should never get impatient with God, because He is not on our timetable and has a perfect plan which we Christians need to trust will take place in God's timing. Acquiring patience comes about when we get a proper perspective, pray for it, learn to slow down, and practice waiting. We need to keep reminding ourselves how very patient our loving Father is toward us.
