What do drag queens, God, a Democrat Trifecta in Nebraska, and Dinesh D'Souza all have in common? We talk this week with author, journalist, and research analyst Ross Benes to find out in his new book, "Rural Rebellion: How Nebraska Became a Republican Stronghold".

I'd imagine when you think about Nebraska you aren't associating it with a Democratically held stronghold, and you could be forgiven for thinking that. As a matter of fact, Nebraska had a Democratically ran state legislature, Governorship, and Senate for nearly a decade up until 1998. So what changed? We explore this and other topics in our wide-ranging conversation with Ross.
