Hypnosis is the process of getting a person relaxed and giving them suggestions that may or may not help them to get their desired results.  However, some people still associate hypnosis with demonic or satanic rituals like they may have seen in some B-Rated Horror flick.  

However, hypnosis was actually birthed from the brains of psychologists and researchers, and while its origins are tarnished by decades of disrespect, it's now making its way back into the mainstream with dignity.
