NAZIONAPOLI - Episode 2: March 2020 Raff N Raff w/ Former Rutgers QB Giovanni Rescigno - a podcast by Far From Vesuvius

With Napoli and the rest of club football on break, it's international football time again.  In our 2nd installment of NazioNapoli, Raff N Raff bring us a very special guest in Rutgers University alum, former quarterback and captain of the Rutgers Football (American) Team and BIG TIME Napoli and Italia fan, Giovanni Rescigno. 

The former Rutgers #17 (a nod to Hamsik) is currently playing in the IFL - Italian Football League with Rhinos Milano, and we get a great lesson in all things Italian gridiron. Then, we get to business about our Napoli ragazzi with their national teams, focusing heavily on Italy's two World Cup 2022 Qualifying wins. One home to Northern Ireland and the other an historic away win vs. Bulgaria, both 2-0 wins. 

Check back with us later this week as we bring a 2nd NazioNapoli to round out Italy's final qualifer of the break, a home fixture against Lithuania, as well as round up all the other partenopei with their nation, and look ahead to Napoli hosting Crotone Saturday April 3 and then the BIG matchday 3 with Juventus FINALLY coming up on Wednesday, April 7!
