The book of Lamentations describes the silhouette of Jerusalem after the Babylonian empire came and utterly destroyed the city and carried the nation of Judah off into exile. What once was a glorious city, the center of religious life for the Israelites, the home of the temple - the dwelling place of God, a city of high walls, flowing streams, and bustling markets, was now a flattened, burned out, desolated ruin.

And yet in Lamentations 3:19-26 there is hope, and this is what Pastor Austin Collins speaks about in this sermon.
