What are we waiting for? We spend our lives waiting for the next weekend, the next big thing, or the next transition. We worry if we will have enough money or if our kids will turn out OK. Jesus said “don’t worry”, but how are His people to do that? It is simply an outcome of faith.

The 2nd Coming of Jesus is the 2nd most mentioned doctrine in the New Testament. Focusing on it should be therefore a priority for the church and ourselves. Rather than over-speculating on it, we need to know the Scriptures and let the reality of His Coming be like a magnet for our heart. Then hope will overtake worry and we will live more patient, restful and holy lives. What are YOU waiting for?
