1. Keep it real and in perspective. Accept that the desired outcome was not reached. Don't romanticize, make excuses (sugarcoat) or explain the failure away. Transversely, understand that there are no true failures; either you win or you learn.

2. Analyze and mobilize! Evaluate what went right, what did not go as planned and what you can do to create a plan of action moving forward.

3. Go for it! Try it again. Risk it again. Soon enough, moving past failures and disappointments  won't sting as much, as you will recognize them as components that are a part of the process.
