The second Saturday in January marks the 10 year anniversary of Glitter Day, the fun and fabulous holiday in celebration of all things magical and sparkly inside all of us.

The idea for an LGBTQ+ centric winter holiday began as a bit on the podcast and amazingly the idea caught on like wildfire. On Glitter Day there are no expectations so go wild or mild! You can light up a rainbow set of candles with close friends or just chill out at home in a hot bubble bath.

Today our dear friend Michael Lehet, who started Glitter Day, joins us to look back on a decade of Glitterous Glory, and other wonderfully weird and wild ideas that caught on the Internet.

➤ Cher rescues an elephant.

➤ A scorpion farmer strikes it rich.

➤ A man had a coin removed from his nose after 50 years.

➤ Break dancing is set to become an Olympic sport.
