The final game of the NFL season will be for the NFC West title and maybe even the number one seed in the post season. For the Seahawks, they would need help from the Packers and Saints. But regardless of seeding scenarios, the goal for either team will be to start the playoffs on their home field. Jimmy Garoppolo will be the starter for the 49ers for the first time at CenturyLink Field. While he has played in big games, particular in the stretch of the last few weeks, he hasn't faced a scenario with this much on the line.
Oscar Aparicio of Niners Nation and the Better Rivals Podcast joins the show to talk about where teams have had success in applying pressure to Garoppolo outside of a strong pass rush. His favorite target this season has been George Kittle and he's someone Seattle will need to be concerned with covering this time around. Defensively, the 49ers defense struggled early against the Rams, and Oscar talks about how they adjusted to rattle Jared Goff late in last week's game and how it could apply against a Seattle offense that may try some similar things against the San Francisco defense.
