The Seahawks made a move in free agency this past week, signing running back Carlos Hyde. Hyde rushed for more than 1,000 yard for the first time in his career last season with the Houston Texans. Danny Kelly, former editor of Field Gulls now with the Ringer, joins the show to talk about what the move means for the Seahawks. Russell Wilson has talked about wanting to go more up tempo and Danny says offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer appears to be open to the idea. Will Pete Carroll make another shift?
The decision to use more base defense this past season has been a bit topic lately and we discuss the main reasons for Pete Carroll going against what a majority of the NFL did this past season. We also talk about the recent reports of Wilson's interest of Antonio Brown joining the Seahawks.
