Leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft, we primarily heard about three linebackers with first-round talent. Isaiah Simmons of Clemson, Kenneth Murray of Oklahoma and Patrick Queen of LSU. But, apart from one mock draft at CBS Sports, none seemed to dial in on the idea of Brooks having first round talent. The Seattle Seahawks made him just the fourth defensive player drafted in the first round in the Pete Carroll and John Schneider era and Samuel Gold joins the podcast to talk about what he saw breaking down the film and how analysts may not have been looking back to 2018 to his ability to drop back into coverage. Admittedly, Sam says Brooks' game showed weakness in 2019, but it doesn't offer a complete picture. Check out Sam's 12-minute video breakdown of Jordyn Brooks.
