Today's episode offers some of the highlights from Pete Carroll's discussion with Seattle area media on Thursday. He addressed how Bruce Irvin and Jordyn Brooks could be featured on the defense this season. Marquise Blair in his second season with the team could see a larger role on defense particularly in nickel situations. Carroll also had a chance to address the signing of Carlos Hyde for the first time since that deal was announced. News also came out during the press conference that Pete talked with another team who reached out to him to ask about Colin Kaepernick. Coach Carroll said that looking back he has some regrets around not signing Kap when they had a chance. Finally, Pete says he believes the NFL is a player's league and they have a chance to push for the changes they want.
