This Saturday at 1pm PT is the deadline for the Seahawks to have their roster cut down from 90 players to 53. Alistair Corp joins the show to talk about his latest roster projection going into the final preseason game against the Oakland Raiders. We start out on offense and discuss whether or not C.J. Prosise deserves to remain on the roster and whether or not the team will carry a fullback into Week 1. Wide receiver has questions regarding who will be the fifth and maybe sixth spot in that group and there are questions of who to keep at tight end. Fortunately there aren't any difficult decisions when it comes to the three special teams players.
After the break we take a look at the defensive side of the ball and the many questions on the defensive line. Could they decide to only carry three interior defenders so the team can carry upwards of six defensive ends to help provide depth with so many injuries going into the first week of the season. Linebacker provides the greatest amount of depth, which means that it will be tough to keep Austin Calitro, Shaquem Griffin and rookie linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven. Alistair thinks that despite a strong preseason, DeShawn Shead may not be able to hold a spot on the roster considering the amount of depth and young talent competing at safety with McDougald, Thompson, Blair and Amadi all appearing to be locks to make the final 53-man roster.
