For those scouting NFL Draft prospects in the 2020 Senior Bowl, the North Team's 34-17 victory over the South squad wasn't of much importance. However, the reason why the South wasn't able to keep pace with the North was obvious to nearly everyone watching. It seemed as though it didn't matter who the South rotated into the tackle spot, or whether they played on the left or right side, there was very little time to throw the football. EJ Snyder of Windy City Gridiron, the Bears community on SB Nation, joins the show to talk about some tackles from the North squad who may be able to start in 2020.
Snyder was in attendance for the entire week down in Mobile, Alabama, and has some evaluations to share from the week of practice. At guard Logan Stenberg of Kentucky, a player Rob Staton spoke about glowingly in the previous episode, played well during the game and was someone who EJ had an interaction with during the week. He says that some of Stenberg's biggest strengths show up on tape and weren't something he could effectively showcase at the Senior Bowl.
Closing out the show by talking quarterbacks, is it possible that the Bengals could screw up the draft and go with Justin Herbert after the Oregon quarterback earned MVP honors in Saturday's game. Snyder says some reports will suggest the Bengals are considering it, but reminds fans not to put any stock in reports of where players may or may not go leading up to the draft.
