For those who like to dig into the Seahawks salary cap number on the web, the $51 million amount of space they have can be deceiving. John P. Gilbert of Field Gulls joins the show to discuss why the amount John Schneider and Pete Carroll have available to spend  is closer to about 42 million for 2020. We also look at some players who Seattle could move on from the boost that number.
Germaine Ifedi and George Fant could both be on their way out this offseason and John explains that Seattle's front office has missed the mark when it comes to offensive line valuation. Jadeveon Clowney's ability to stop the run is likely to keep the Seahawks in a bidding war for their top pass rusher. In terms of their own free agents they have the opportunity to pay, John says Clowney gives Seattle the most value for the money.
