TRADE! Seahawks to acquire Jadeveon Clowney in a deal with the Houston Texans - a podcast by SB Nation

It was a big morning for the Seahawks ahead of the 53-man roster cuts with reports that Jadeveon Clowney is coming to Seattle in a trade for Jacob Martin, Barkevious Mingo and a 2020 3rd round pick. Joe Fann, Seahawks Insider for NBC Sports Northwest, joins the show to talk about the trade with the Houston Texans.  We talk about what the position the Texans were in when it looked like a potential trade with the Dolphins wasn't going to happen, the hit rate for the Seahawks when it comes to 3rd round draft picks, and the potential that Clowney could end up being a one-year rental player for the Seahawks. The only downside is if Jacob Martin goes on to develop into a solid player and Clowney does leave after this next year and the Seahawks aren't able to capitalize off his efforts. For now, it looks like a huge win for the Seahawks and John Schneider going into the 2019 NFL season.
