Jordan is out this week, so Eddie tags in Jeff Brantley, host of “The Man in the Cage” podcast, to team with him. Eddie Cross is headed back to Houston this Saturday night for UFC 265, featuring Derrick Lewis vs. Cyril Gane for the Interim UFC Heavyweight championship.
Round 1 covers the changing of the guard at Bellator 263, as A.J. McKee took the featherweight title from Patricio Pitbull to win the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix. Sean Strickland defeated Uriah Hall in the main event of UFC on ESPN.
In Round 2, the undercard of Woodley vs Paul was announced, and the Canelo/Plant fight may be off for next month.
Round 3 looks ahead to this weekend’s big UFC 265 card in Houston, where hometown hero Derrick Lewis gets his 2nd shot at heavyweight gold against France’s Ciryl Gane.
