Ryan Brownlee is the Assistant Executive Director of Coaching Outreach within the America Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).  He played collegiately at Evansville University from 1994-1997.  Upon graduation, he played professionally for the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League in the Summer of 1997.  Soon after he began his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Evansville University from 1998-1999.  Then, from 2000-2003 he was an Assistant Coach at James Madison University and from 2004-2012 he was the Recruiting Coordinator for the University of Iowa.  Next, from 2013-2019 he was the Head Coach at Western Illinois University.  Following the end of the 2019 season he retired after an impressive 21 years of collegiate level coaching.  


In this podcast, we start off talking about his playing career at Evansville, where he was originally from and where his Father coached and the fact that he did not originally commit to that college.  Also, Coach Brownlee tells a few stories about what it was like playing for his Father at the collegiate level.
