Tyler Pill is a former Major League Baseball Right Handed Pitcher and MiLB Outfielder, now Undergrad Assistant at Cal State Fullerton.  He was drafted in the 38th round by the Colorado Rockies out of High School, but elected to go to college instead, ending up at Cal State Fullerton.  Later, in 2011 he was drafted by the New York Mets in the 4th round.  Tyler made is MLB debut in 2017 with the New York Mets, then in 2018 he elected into the Free Agency.  Signed with the Arizona Diamond Backs in the offseason, then traded to the Los Angeles Dodger later in 2018.  He then elected into the Free Agency again in 2019, and later signed with the Texas Rangers later in 2019 as a two-way player; Pitcher and Outfielder.  He was released in July of 2019 and is now an Undergrad Assistant, finishing his degree at Cal State Fullerton. 


In this episode, we start off talking about what it was like for Tyler when he got the call up to the Big Leagues.  Also, what it was like mentally his first year in the Major Leagues, being called up and down multiple times.  We than dive into the process of converting from a Right-Handed Pitcher to an Outfielder, as well as playing through injuries.
