Did you know? Less than 0.2% of the U.S. population are pilots. And out of that pilot population, only about 6% are female. A pretty small niche in our society. With new regulations after 9/11 the days of hanging around small local airports, kicking the tires, and talking to pilots are diminishing. The rate of newly certificated pilots is not growing in proportion to population growth & demand. So how did not just one of us, but both of us become private pilots?

In Episode 2 we share some of our aviation journey and hope to encourage many of you to learn to fly. If you are already a pilot, we challenge you to join us in doing what you can to promote general aviation & help bridge the gap between airports, FBOs and your community.
