Pilot Currency and Proficiency - What's the Difference? Episode 22 - a podcast by John & Leslie Caubble
from 2019-03-12T03:25:27
Staying current and staying proficient… It can be a little confusing, especially to students and new pilots. Currency and proficiency are different, but at the same time they have similarities and complement each other. On today’s episode we’ll outline what the FAA requires to be a legal, current pilot in command. Then we’ll talk about what it means to us to not only be a legal pilot, but to be a proficient pilot. Getting current and becoming proficient are two things we’ve experienced in the last several months here in Hawaii.
