When you walk through an airport in a pilot's uniform, it's a different
experience from what you might have normally.  It's almost like being a
celebrity in that you get recognized.  It's not like people actually
recognize you - but they give you a look like they recognize that
you're a pilot.  Or something like that.  It's most noticeable with
children.  Sometimes a child will stand there and hold out a finger
pointed in your direction and say "look mom, a policeman." ...
