Thousands of children are living this reality in Europe and it is a bleak childhood.A group of children’s entertainers called The Flying Seagulls are trying to bring some joy into the camps with their special clown-like programmes.

Their ringmaster Ash Perrin told Chris Cummins that, alongside shelter, security and food, children really need laughter and play.
