Why do I have this particular podcast? I thought it would be a good idea today to get into why I do what I do. To me, this show seemed like a good fit in a world where financial gurus seem to all have one thing in common: a one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter approach to personal finance. I couldn't disagree with this concept more.

There's a lot of room for improvement on several radio programs, books, and television programs out there meant to help us with personal finance. While they can serve as a source of inspiration, the advice given was nearly the same for each and every individual, regardless of the individual's particular situation. This simply doesn't make sense to me.

I felt that a show needed to be done to blend advice from multiple sources and empower folks by suggesting to do your own thinking. I don't think that you should follow one individual or concept; instead, I think we all need to dig deeper in order to determine what fits our individual situations before we implement a plan.

Never blindly follow, and always continue to think for yourself. You'll truly feel a sense of empowerment when you put the pieces together and realize that there are various resources that will help you. You just need someone to help you to put the puzzle pieces together properly, and that's the particular why behind what I do.
