Kelly Cates is joined by Scottish football reporter Roddy Forsyth, former Rangers captain Richard Gough and ex-Scotland defender Gary Caldwell to pay tribute to Walter Smith – the former Rangers, Everton and Scotland manager who has died at the age of 73.

They reflect on the extraordinary career of one of Scottish football’s most successful managers, with Smith winning 21 titles and trophies with Rangers between 1991 and 2011 and transforming the fortunes of the Scotland national team when he took over in 2004.

Vicki Sparks and former England and Manchester United goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlain react to England’s 10-0 win over Latvia in their Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign. They discuss what Sarina Weigman has changed in her time in charge so far and who they’ll want to avoid in the draw for next year’s European Championships, which takes place on Thursday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job is safe for now – he’s expected to take charge of the team against Tottenham at the weekend after Sir Alex Ferguson visited the Carrington Training Ground for talks following their 5-0 thrashing at home to Liverpool. Lee Dixon, Glenn Murray and Jobi McAnuff discuss United’s lack of identity and what needs to change if Solskjaer is to keep his job in the long-term.

Two games in the League Cup round of 16 went to penalties as Chelsea beat Southampton and League One Sunderland shocked QPR to reach the quarter-finals. We’ll bring you reaction to both those games and Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Leeds, with the thoughts of Mikel Arteta.

And Wrexham may have lost 3-2 at Maidenhead but they did get to see their new co-owners in the flesh for the first time as Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney attended their first game since taking over the club. Radio Wales’ Rob Phillips gives us the lowdown of how their visit came about and what they’ll have made of the non-league experience.
