The FTP Team was joined by Teri Woods, Author, Self-Publisher extraordinaire and one of the most successful African American self-published authors remaining in the publishing industry.  Teri Woods and the FTP Fam “Street Literature”, and compared it to Mainstream Literature.  Teri Woods alerted us that the category or designation of Urban/Street was created by Mainstream Media to keep black authors at the back of the proverbial “Bus!” Teri Woods was honest, open, passionate and at times got a bit on the defensive, when she was challenged by The Compassionate Lawyer, however, at the end of the night Teri Woods demonstrated why she is such a beloved Urban Fiction writer, Tune in to her Teri woods break it down to us.
