The Honorable Jordan Harris Pennsylvania State Representative was elected to the State
Legislature on Nov. 6, 2012, representing the 186th Legislative District in Philadelphia.
Prior to being elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Harris was appointed
as the Executive Director of Philadelphia's Youth Commission where he advised the Mayor,
City Council and other key decision makers.  Representative Harris earned his Bachelor's
Degree in Governmental and Political Affairs and a Master's Degree in Education.
 Representative Harris is sought after to discuss youth leadership and development a
t universities, churches and on other platforms across the nation. Harris is an informed
advocate for the improvement of the educational system.
Ian Ranzer, English teacher.  Prior to teaching at Friends Select in Philadelphia, Ian taught
English at The Haverford School as well as Brooklyn Friends School and the Vermont public school system.
Ian's primary focus is American Literature and he has also taught courses in women’s literature,
utopian fiction and new journalism.  As a personal passion outside of school, 
Ian is Program Director at G-town Radio, as well as host of Mt. Airy Groove
(formerly Soul Junction,)  a head noddin' amalgamation of jazz, soul, fusion, Brazil,
AfroBeat, and all funky things, mixed seamlessly on 100% vinyl, which can be heard
weekly on G-town radio.com on Wednesdays afternoons from 12:00-2:00 PM (EST).  
 Mary R. Pitts, CEO of ‘Prophetic Presentations, speaking to the hearts of mankind, via the
ARTS', developed her love and interest in the Performing Arts at an early age in her local church,
as an actor and later as a writer, director and producer.  Mary completed her Associates
Degree in General Studies at Community College of Philadelphia and received her
Bachelor’s Degree from LaSalle University in sociology. Mary is a former department of
Human Services Social Worker, and a pure advocate for children.  Mary is a frequent guest
on and guest co-host on For the People, law in plain language. Mary also co-hosts the
Broke N truth show which can be heard weekly on G-town radio.com on Tuesday night
