with Debra D. Rainey, Esq.
The other side of the influence, substance abuse and its effect on our families.
The FTP Fam tackled the harrowing issue of substance abuse and addiction we joined by Ron Grover, a father, a professional, and an advocate, who shared the painful story of his son's 7 year fight with substance addiction that began with recreational abuse of Oxycotin and grew into an addiction to Heroin.  We discussed and debated substance abuse versus substance addiction, we heard from "Simply the Producer", who shared way TMI respecting her own journey through the 60s and experimentation.  Our listeners chimed in and one shared his painful journey through his father's addiction to Meth and another caller applauded recovery attempts and dared all recovering addicts to "keep their heads up" and keep on fighting.  This show is powerful, educational and a ride that you must take! Check us out!
