The journey called life
Life is not always good, sometimes we undergo challenges before we reach success. In the journey, we’ll encounter different circumstances that will challenge and teach us to grow stronger.
(3:20) Why I enjoyed pageants was it was one of the ways out for me because my family financially we went down so I had to support myself through school since I was 14 years old. So, when my friend encouraged me to join a beauty pageant, you know it could be a great chance for me to do something about my life.
(3:52) The whole process is that I had no experience and because I had been a trainer for many years, I was teaching yoga, aerobics, line dancing.
(4:04) I started teaching when I was 14, 15 years old I was the youngest instructor in Singapore
(4:59) The experience and the journey are important but winning it has really opened up the horizon.
The road to success
The path to success will need determination and a constant thirst for learning. It also requires a determined and resilient character.
(5:26) I think a lot of times is the way you brand yourself the way you carry yourself the way you talk about what your vision is and how people could help you to achieve what you want to do.
(6:16) I want to leverage my time and do something online, more scalable
(6:24) So I was looking for an answer, went online, I took a lot of courses and then I met this guy who was my student in image consultancy, his name is James, James Wee
(6:43) So that was when I opened up my eyes to the level of what you call the e-commerce
(6:46) And it took me a while to figure it out, how exactly it was done
(7:29) Many times people go the wrong way or long way even for myself I also go the long way and the wrong way. Before I achieve success in the online world it was not easy. That’s why I want to help women to shorten their time.
Creating Impact
Change begins once the mindset is changed. You can only influence those who are willing.
(8:12) It’s all about tearing down the limiting belief
(8:18) I realized there’s a lot of women who are still holding back. Because of their family tradition and culture.
(8:39) A lot of women give up their dreams sometimes when they have children. Nothing wrong with that.
(8:48) What if there could be a way for women to have it all. They could have a way to still have a family and then through a network or platform, they learn and acquire the skills easily. The question is. Is it sustainable? Is it duplicable? Is it easy to pick up? The answer is yes!
The vision of Soul Rich Woman
Empowering women to empower others, to live fulfilling lives.
9:26- 33 The vision of Soul Rich Woman is to empower 1 million women to make money online with at least about a thousand dollars a month.
9:46-52 It changes their lifestyle and help their children or help their family it can change their life.
Achievements in life
Achievement doesn’t always mean awards or recognition. It’s those changes in you by allowing others to speak to you and taking their wisdom to create the path towards your dreams.
(10:9)Actually for me, one of the things I feel I have achieved is depth in terms of my thinking.
10:20-26 It really changed my life like it helped me to see how to become a better leader, as a woman.
11:54-12:05 My story is always, don't be a victim of your own circumstances step out of your comfort zone and go towards dreams you always desire and wanted to achieve.
Partnership in Business
Working along with others can enhance what you have and make your vision grander.
(13:28) Partnerships are very powerful everybody has their own role you just have to respect each other’s position and do the best that you are good at or what you are good in. So that when you come together all of us come together it’s like a very powerful force so that’s one thing that I learned. The other one is the power of collaboration and partnership.
