On today’s episode, Jason starts things off my explaining how the Baltimore Ravens loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers proves that Lamar Jackson is the Giannis Antetokounmpo of the NFL - a marvelous regular season player whose fatal flaws get exposed against the best competition. Three years into his NFL career, Jackson still hasn’t shown he’s a good enough passer to beat good teams when his ability to run has been taken away either through scheme or game flow. Until he proves he can win games from the pocket, the Ravens will never win big in the postseason. Jason also explains why the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers both losing to 1-win teams proves that neither team should be viewed as a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Only frauds lose to bad teams this deep into the season. What’s more, Aaron Rodgers seems to recognize that his team is lacking in at least one area and he’s doing everything he can to force the Packers front office into making a move before the trade deadline. Later, Jason tells us why the New England Patriots heartbreaking loss on the road against the Buffalo Bills should place them firmly alongside the New York Jets and the New York Giants in the Trevor Lawrence Sweepstakes. None of those teams are going anywhere this season, and the sooner Bill Belichick admits it the better off the Patriots will be in the long run. Finally, Jason closes things out with a Monday Night Football edition of the Best Bet.
