Overview: Clinicians need to accurately assess the degree of heart failure at the bedside to make appropriate management decisions. However, the common bedside practice of estimating right atrial pressure by measuring jugular venous pressure (JVP) has several accuracy limitations. This session focuses on the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POC-US) to improve the accuracy of JVP measurements.
